Technology and expansion: Meyer Sound's commitment to InfoComm América Latina

Technology and expansion: Meyer Sound's commitment to InfoComm América Latina
With prominent presence at InfoComm 2025 in Orlando, Meyer Sound reaffirms its commitment to innovation and Latin American markets.

Antonio Manzo, sales director in Mexico, and Juan Carlos Yépez, sales manager for Central America, South America, and the Caribbean, shared their vision on the company's new solutions, the momentum of the market in the region, and what the public will be able to experience at InfoComm América Latina October in Mexico City.

A vibrant InfoComm full of opportunities

Both executives agreed that the business environment at InfoComm 2025 was exceptional. "We have been very active since early with meetings with customers in Mexico and Latin America," said Antonio Manzo, highlighting the interest in the innovations that Meyer Sound presented this year. "We are launching products that are revolutionizing the industry, especially in interconnectivity and control systems."

For Juan Carlos Yépez, the fair marked a return to the energy of the big events: "It feels like we have returned to normality. There is a lot of real interest, not just curiosity. More business opportunities, more decisions at the door. And that's what you look for in an event like this".

Software, connectivity and the future of professional audio

Although Meyer Sound is recognized worldwide for its high-end loudspeaker systems, this year the protagonism was his control platform. "We are presenting Nebra 2, our new software that allows you to monitor, control and process audio systems directly, something that was previously done with separate platforms," explained Manzo. This solution is enhanced with Gen 1, a new card that incorporates protocols such as AVB Milan and AES67, facilitating interoperability and integration with IT systems.

"It's not just about speakers anymore, it's about interconnected ecosystems. We want our products, although plug and play, can easily dialogue with each other and with third-party systems. This opens the door to integrators who come more from the IT world than from traditional audio," he added.

Yépez also stressed the importance of this technological evolution: "Today you have to know IP addresses, networks, switches. The audiovisual industry is already in the field of IT, and those who master this convergence will be the protagonists of the future".

New verticals and a changing market

Historically strong in touring and live sound, Meyer Sound representatives note that the market is diversifying rapidly. "We are seeing significant growth in integration, education, churches, corporate auditoriums and also in private cinemas or immersive projection, where audio quality is demanded for content in Dolby Atmos," said Manzo.

In regional terms, Yépez highlighted the dynamism of Central America: "A few years ago it was difficult to make strong sales in this region. Today we see much larger investments, growth in multiple verticals, and a business environment that allows the development of distributors and projects on a different scale.

Heading to InfoComm América Latina

Meyer Sound will play a key role in the first edition of InfoComm América Latina, from October 22 to 24 in Mexico City, where it will have a special demo room. Technologies such as Nebra 2, Gen 1, and the new ASTRYA line of loudspeakers, designed especially for cinematic spaces and high-demand installations, will be on display there.
"We want all visitors to enjoy the experience. Sound quality has always been our main objective, but now we are also showing how to facilitate the connection between users, artists, and technology," said Yépez.

Manzo, for his part, made a direct invitation: "We are going to present in Mexico the same thing we launched in Orlando. Be sure to visit us. Our demo room will show the latest technological advances in professional sound, ideal for integration, entertainment, education and more.

A not-to-be-missed experience

In addition to cutting-edge technology, both representatives recognize the strategic value of making InfoComm in Mexico. "It is a key country for all Latin America, accessible, close, without language barriers, and with a professional ecosystem that is already very solid," said Yépez. "I am sure it will be a success."
