Grupo Niza highlights its expertise, community and global vision

Grupo Niza highlights its expertise, community and global vision
As part of InfoComm 2025 in Orlando, we had the opportunity to talk with Maru Gaitan, director of Grupo Niza, about his experience at the fair, the growth of the audiovisual industry in Latin America and what the public can expect from their participation in InfoComm Latin America.

With more than six decades of history, Grupo Niza is a reference in the integration, distribution and production of events in Mexico. Its commitment to technological innovation and professional development is reflected in each of its director's words.

"InfoComm has always been our priority."

From the outset, Maru Gaitan stressed the strategic importance of InfoComm for his business group: "My company has 62 years of existence and, from the beginning, coming to InfoComm has been the number one priority because we find a lot of value. We have not missed a single year to participate".

Grupo Niza not only takes advantage of the fair to strengthen the relationship with manufacturers, but also to keep up to date with new solutions in the market: "It is the opportunity to gain an understanding of innovation and everything that is coming for our integration, distribution and events business.

But beyond networking and technological innovations, Maru highlights the community spirit that InfoComm has fostered: "It has become like a community. We are a family that meets year after year at these fairs. It's the joy of coming home.

Training and awareness-raising: keys to boosting the market

Asked about the current state of the industry in Latin America, Maru identified a key challenge: "It lacks much knowledge about what is the audiovisual industry. One of our great strengths has been to explain to our customers all that involves being your best advisor and offer the best solution.

He stresses that constant preparation is the way to close this gap, highlighting the role of AVIXA in this process: "The more we prepare ourselves, the more we can guide customers, who often believe they can solve everything through the Internet or now with artificial intelligence. They do not take into account many details that we learn through certifications".

Growing verticals: from corporate to residential

Grupo Niza has established itself especially in the corporate segment, where they detect a constant need for audiovisual solutions: "They have all spaces in need of such solutions. From meeting rooms to auditoriums, lobbies and digital signage. They are big users of technology.

In addition to the corporate sector, Maru mentions sectors such as education, health, government and residential: "Education has already changed; distance medicine also requires technology. And the government demands control centers from us. We even end up doing residential projects, because managers want to bring this technology to their homes."

InfoComm Latin America: a historic opportunity

Looking forward to InfoComm Latin America, to be held in Mexico for the first time in 2025, Maru is enthusiastic: "We are very excited. We waited for a long time that InfoComm come to Mexico. And I think that with all the strategy and intelligence of AVIXA to attract end customers, we will finally achieve it.

He believes that the event will be a crucial platform to bring technology closer to those who have not been able to attend fairs abroad: "For many it is difficult to travel, either because of language, visas or budget. This fair allows all employees to attend, share and learn, which is a great opportunity".

What Grupo Niza will present at the fair

Nice Group will be present at InfoComm Latin America through its two main divisions. On the one hand, as a distributor, will present key brands such as QSC and Arthur Holm, along with their local representatives. On the other hand, as part of the global network GPA, will be accompanied by the director of the association and executives of Forte, the group's largest company in the United States.

"Our goal is to show the difference of dealing with a globalized company, with standardized processes, intuitive solutions and ready for this new era of artificial intelligence," Maru explains. "It's a great opportunity to see professionally what we can offer them."

An open invitation to grow together

With an approach based on community, collaboration and continuous improvement, Grupo Niza is preparing to welcome customers, colleagues and partners to an event that will mark a before and after for the industry in Latin America.

"We invite everyone to meet us, to come and see what we do and share this experience with us. InfoComm Latin America will be a transformative meeting point for all who believe in the power of audiovisual technology, "concludes Maru Gaitan.
