The transport of audio and video over IP networks is no longer a future trend to become the basis of digital convergence in the audiovisual industry. This session explores in a clear and practical way how AV over IP drives the integration between IT and AV, enabling more flexible, scalable and cost-effective workflows.
An overview of the main formats and standards currently in use (such as Dante AV, NDI, SMPTE ST 2110, AVB, among others) will be presented, highlighting their differences, applications and adoption challenges. In addition, practical examples of migration to AV over IP will be shared in different environments, from broadcast and live production to corporate education, so that attendees can identify concrete opportunities in their projects.
The talk seeks not only to explain the technology, but also show how to apply it strategically to meet the demands of a rapidly changing market.
