David Labuskes, CTS, CAE, RCDD, has been the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association (AVIXA) since January 2013. AVIXA is the global association representing the commercial audiovisual industry. Since assuming leadership, Labuskes has worked to position AVIXA as a catalyst for market growth and as the nerve center of the AV profession.

Labuskes serves on the Board of Directors of Integrated Systems Events, LLC, a European joint venture trade show organizer, as well as InfoComm Asia PTE, Ltd. a Singapore-based subsidiary that manages AVIXA's trade show portfolio in Asia.

Prior to joining AVIXA, Labuskes was Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors of RTKL, now a division of ARCADIS, a well-known international architectural and engineering firm. He is founder of the company's Special Systems Design group, overseeing the delivery of audiovisual, voice, data, wireless, environmental media, electronic security and acoustics services.

Previously, Labuskes was also President and CEO of Premier Technology Services, a software and systems design consulting firm, and Executive Vice President of Accelerated Payment Systems, an electronic payment processing company.

He earned a B.A. in International Politics from Pennsylvania State University (Penn State University) and an MBA from Loyola University Maryland.
