Among the characteristics of the loudspeakers is their maximum sound pressure level, this is an indication of the range that the loudspeaker can have when integrated into a particular project, analyzing this feature will allow us to recognize the distance and coverage area that the speaker can achieve. When using different models of loudspeakers, with different power capacities, it is essential to analyze the capabilities of the elements involved to conceive them in an integrated project that meets the projected sound pressure level in all areas of custody demanded. This workshop will focus its objectives in recognizing the concept of sound pressure level focusing its understanding in the application of sound reinforcement systems design, exemplifying its measurement with the accompaniment of the analysis of the spectrum used, as well as the coverage achieved in a given audience.
