John Orona, Ph.D., serves as Director of Information Communication & Technology at St. Philip’s College, supporting more than 22,000 students in San Antonio and as part of the Alamo Colleges District’s enterprise technology team serving over 100,000 learners. With over two decades of experience in academic and instructional technology leadership, he specializes in enterprise application implementations, classroom AV modernization, campus infrastructure projects, and accessibility and data‑privacy compliance. John holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio and is committed to building strong partnerships and customer‑focused teams that elevate teaching, learning, and operational outcomes.
