Oscar Maguey is the Director of Strategic Accounts at Grupo NIZA. He holds a degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the Tecnológico de Monterrey, an MBA from ITAM, and is a CTS-certified professional, with more than 15 years of experience in the audiovisual industry.

He entered the AV world with virtually no knowledge of the industry and discovered a fascinating career: a field where technology comes to life by connecting people, experiences, and results.

Throughout his career, he has progressed from specialized sales roles to strategic account management, participating in projects for large corporations in Mexico and various countries throughout the Americas. His career has allowed him to collaborate with global organizations, build relationships with some of the leading figures in the audiovisual industry, and contribute to large-scale technological transformation initiatives.

What excites him most about the AV industry is discovering how technology that often goes unnoticed is present in our daily lives. From bringing a museum to life to transforming the way people communicate, collaborate, learn, and experience spaces, he has found in audiovisual technology a unique opportunity to make a real impact on people.

For Oscar, one of his greatest professional satisfactions is seeing how an idea that began on a piece of paper becomes a tangible, functional solution that enhances experiences, connects people, and adds value to organizations.

His own career path is a testament to the fact that in the AV industry, there is no single career path, but rather a sea of possibilities where engineering, technology, creativity, business, and leadership converge. Today, he seeks to inspire new generations to discover an industry full of opportunities, growth, and innovation—one in which each person can forge their own path and determine how far they want to go.
