A double bass musician, Ney is an avid builder of the web3 ecosystem in Brazil. At the helm of Upland in Latin America, a blockchain metaverse created in Silicon Valley, he inaugurated the company's operations in Brazil and Argentina, launching the first Latin cities on the platform. Ney is a partner at Biobots.ai, a Brazilian artificial intelligence and spatial computing startup that has created avatars of several celebrities.
He is a specialist in innovation for the events sector and served as President of MPI Brazil (Meeting Professionals International). He also worked at Campus Party Brazil, leading initiatives such as hackathons, mentoring and conferences. He is co-author of the book Eventech: technology for events, where he presents the thesis of the use of Blockchain in the issuance of tickets for events.
