Speakers

Nelson Baumgratz, CTS®-D, CTS-I, AVIXA Regional Manager for Mercosur, holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) and a master’s degree in Intelligence Technologies and Digital Design from PUC-SP.   
 
He has more than 45 years of multidisciplinary experience, ranging from electronic equipment design and manufacturing to advanced IT consulting and software system development. A volunteer AVIXA instructor from 2007 to 2013, he was the first Latin American to be awarded the title of “Educator of the Year” by the association in 2012.   
 
Nelson is expanding AVIXA’s presence in the region, serving members and supporting the association’s educational program throughout Latin America, promoting professional certification, the adoption of audiovisual technical standards, and partnerships with educational institutions to train a skilled workforce in AV Pro.
