Marcelo Moreira
Marcelo Moreira leads Cisco's technical strategy for collaboration in Latin America. He oversees a team of solutions engineers and works directly with Cisco teams, end customers, service providers, and partners throughout the region. Marcelo is an active speaker at Cisco and industry events, and he also serves as a spokesperson to the Latin American press and market analysts, promoting Cisco’s collaboration strategy and the Webex portfolio.
Marcelo joined Cisco in 1997 as a Systems Engineer in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. During his career at Cisco, he has served as a Systems Engineer, Systems Engineering Manager, and Senior Systems Engineering Manager in the service provider, enterprise, and public sector segments. He has many years of pre-sales experience in the IT and telecommunications sectors, as well as more than seventeen years of experience working in Latin America, participating in virtual organizations and cross-functional collaboration projects throughout the region.
Marcelo holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ). Portuguese is his native language, and he is fully proficient in English and Spanish.
