Shure celebrates 100 years of innovation with an eye on InfoComm Latin America
The brand, recognized globally for its leadership in audio solutions, is celebrating its 100 years with a series of activities around the world, including its participation in InfoComm Latin America, from 22 to 24 October in Mexico City.
"Not everyone makes it to 100."
During an interview at InfoComm 2025 in Orlando, David Roman, Senior Director for Latin America Shure, explained the meaning of this anniversary: "It is a celebration with fanfare that lasts all year. Not all companies reach 100 years, and being a private company, speaks of a mystique of work focused on constant innovation and listening to the customer, "he said.
The celebration is not just symbolic. So far this year, Shure has launched 14 new product lines, and that number is expected to double before the next ISE. "The goal is not just to celebrate, but to project the next 100 years," said Román.

Technology that evolves with the market
Shure is taking a step beyond microphones with solutions that span the entire audiovisual ecosystem: speakers, amplifiers, extenders, unified conferencing systems, and control platforms.
Román identified two major disruptive trends that have guided his recent developments:
- The transition from hardware to software in the pro audio world, with more flexible, scalable and cloud-controllable systems.
- The integration of artificial intelligence to improve intelligibility and enhance communication platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
"AI needs good audio input, and that's where Shure comes in with all its expertise," he explained.
In addition, Shure has been called by several of these platforms to collaborate directly in the development of more efficient and accurate solutions for meetings, videoconferencing and hybrid work.
Latin America in constant growth
With three consecutive years of double-digit growth, Shure sees Latin America as a strong and expanding region. "The region continues to be very active. We closed our fiscal year with growth in almost all countries. We see a positive market movement towards the adoption of technology, not only in retail or professional audio, but also in corporate, education, government and live events, "said Roman.
Even regions such as Central America are excelling in specific verticals. And the increase in international tours in Latin America further reinforces the need for professional audiovisual solutions in venues, stadiums and theaters.

InfoComm Latin America: The next big step
For Shure, the fair in Mexico City is key. The brand will be present with a booth and special activities, showing many of its new solutions, including some that were not presented at InfoComm Orlando.
"Our intention is to be directly showing what's new in each of the areas where we have a presence. In addition, we will continue to celebrate our 100th anniversary with more surprises in October," said Román.
The executive invited integrators, end customers, educational institutions, corporate and government to visit the Shure space at the fair. "If you are setting up a studio, a hybrid classroom or a boardroom, you're going to find something in our portfolio. We look forward to seeing you at InfoComm Latin America to share this celebration with us."
