ELO Will Bring Touchscreen Experiences, Self-Service, and AI to the 202 InfoComm América Latina

ELO Will Bring Touchscreen Experiences, Self-Service, and AI to the 202 InfoComm América Latina
The company will demonstrate how interactive displays, kiosks, and the integration of hardware and software are transforming experiences in retail, hospitality, museums, and other customer-facing environments.

Screens are no longer just surfaces for displaying information. More and more projects are designed to allow users to explore content, make a purchase, find a location, request a service, or interact directly with the space around them.

This evolution will be one of the focal points of ELO Touch's participation in " InfoComm América Latina " 2026, taking place October 21–23 at the World Trade Center in Mexico City.

The company develops touchscreen solutions, including point-of-sale systems, interactive digital signage, and devices ranging in size from 7 to 65 inches.

Elo has more than 35 million installations in the retail and hospitality sectors in more than 80 countries.

For Paloma Robles, ELO's Sales Manager for Mexico, touch technology is playing an increasingly important role in projects where the user experience and the digitization of processes are directly linked.

From watching a screen to interacting with it

One of the main changes that ELO identifies in the audiovisual market is the evolution of traditional digital signage toward solutions that enable active user engagement. “Users expect to engage, explore information, and manage services directly from the screens,” explains Robles.

The company identifies applications of this type in sectors such as retail, hospitality, corporate, transportation, healthcare, and entertainment, where touchscreen technologies can serve as points of information, customer service, purchasing, or navigation.

ELO identifies three main trends driving this transformation: user-centered experiences, the growth of self-service systems, and the integration of hardware, software, remote management, and content into a single digital solution.

For Robles, this evolution is also changing the way we think about audiovisual projects. “The future of the audiovisual market is no longer just about watching and listening to content. It’s about interacting with it.”

Touch Technology in Latin America

ELO's solutions are used in a variety of applications throughout the region. Among the examples cited by the company are museums in Mexico and other Latin American countries, where 50- to 65-inch touchscreens have been integrated to create interactive experiences.

In the hospitality industry, these systems are used for maps and wayfinding tools within hotel complexes, while other applications include self-service kiosks for food orders and service payments. ELO also highlights retail projects featuring smart fitting rooms and customer assistance tools.

These implementations reflect a trend toward spaces where screens serve a functional purpose in addition to displaying content.

What will ELO showcase at InfoComm América Latina?

During the event, visitors will be able to explore solutions for interactive touchscreens, self-service kiosks, digital signage, and business devices.

The proposal will aim to demonstrate how the combination of hardware and software can be used to improve the customer experience and optimize various processes within an organization. There will also be applications related to artificial intelligence.

Among the planned demonstrations is the integration of an AI-based virtual assistant into kiosks, designed to streamline customer service processes and facilitate access to information.

The space will also feature a museum-oriented experience that combines touchscreens with immersive sound, as well as a concept involving smart fitting rooms for retail.

These demonstrations will show how a single touchscreen platform can be adapted to very different needs depending on the industry and the type of user.

Self-service and more personalized experiences

The growth of kiosks and self-service stations is another area that ELO considers particularly important.

The ability to place orders, make inquiries, make payments, or receive guidance without having to rely constantly on a traditional service counter is bringing these technologies to restaurants, hotels, retail stores, transportation hubs, and other high-traffic areas.

At the same time, the integration of software and artificial intelligence opens up new possibilities for personalizing interactions and presenting information tailored to each user's needs.

For ELO, the value of these projects lies in striking a balance between design, functionality, and return on investment, integrating technology as part of the experience rather than as an isolated element.

Who should visit the ELO booth?

The company especially looks forward to welcoming professionals from the retail, hospitality, restaurant, corporate, healthcare, education, and transportation sectors, as well as technology integrators interested in developing experiences using touchscreens, interactive signage, self-service kiosks, and POS solutions.

“We want visitors to be able to see how touch technology can be implemented in different business sectors,” says Robles.

According to the executive, interactivity, personalization, and technological integration will play an important role in the growth of these types of solutions in the coming years.
